Sunday is a day of ' pants ' in our family. For those of you who don't know already, my husband is in the Royal Navy and travel 300 miles to and from work every single week, or is developing during the week and every Sunday is the day of farewell.
So, as you might expect, Sunday nights are slightly ' fed-up-ish ' with children slumping around complaining "isn't fair that he has to go away for a week of work".
This Sunday evening however has been fantastic and Laughter flowering. smiles all round. I got my mits on a copy of ' Tooth Fairy ' starring Dwayne Johnson.
Dwayne ' The Rock ' Johnson is one of my faves hubbys, starring in films such as Scorpion King, The Mummy Returns, The Game Plan, Kanebo, Gridron Gang and of course as a famous WWE wrestler. He is the type that you could expect to see in movies like the new ' Expendables ', although it seems that he hung his external hard drive to play the role of a tooth fairy! Worn with tutu, ali magic Fairy dust, and a wand ...QUALITY!
Well what can I say?Absolutely brilliant! there ' Elf ' for family movies, actually, no, it's best.
Dwayne plays ' Derek Thompson ' – a hockey player minor league hard which is nicknamed ' Tooth Fairy ' for his habit of letting opposing players with fewer teeth than when I entered the game! However, ironically, after committing a crime "tooth fairy" belief, he is sentenced to a week working as a real tooth fairy. Each night has a tooth to collect and when that child falls asleep – those wings pop out, no matter where it is, whether he likes it or not, and in compliance with the good old law antiquata tooth fairy, nobody is allowed to see it!
I have no intention of giving too much away because you need to go out and buy this one on DVD and watch for yourself is a definite must have for that family DVD collection and is now on DVD and Blu ray! children said "is one of the best movie ever!" – they wanted the whole way through eyes off the screen.
Hubby is not too convinced Dwayne going from fearless fata, but he is looking forward to watch when he gets home next weekend, and I can guarantee that he'll love every minute – like me and the kids when we watch all new!!!
