OMG, the constant cacophony of chaos in my house makes me mad! My two ADHD kids and my preschooler musical imaginatif make lot of noise. Between the chatter of blatant antagonism, the shrieks of irritable frustration and riotous game, level decibels in my house laughter is often a + 10.
I am often embarrassed by not only the level of noise that emanates from the walls of my house, but the kinds of sounds. I wonder if other parents hear noises "bizarre" their children what to do? There are often random shrieks, mad laughs, cries whining & crying and frenetic irritation are always as strong as possible. It seems no matter the consequence for them when they are so strong, it is as if they are physically unable to control and manage their volume by moments.Je do not know if it has anything to do with neurobiologiques questions to play or not, but simply me …. losing my mind!
It may be a symptom of their difficulty with transitions and the lack of structure. For example, today my children are especially hazelnuts and they have been in school for the last three days (since Wednesday) but now they have three days where each day at contains something again.Yes, I am afraid my house is simply not as structured as école.SURPRISE! (Only joke).
I think that is ok and same important to allow the flexibility of unstructured time for play and learn how do solve their own problems "bored" child. Unfortunately, for my children, this means that much frustration and the fight between the jeu.Je must say however that I don't like the moments where they play far more accordingly.
What the rest of you think? I'm alone in the craziness...?
